Develop Healthy Habits

Lastly, simple lifestyle changes can make a big difference in protecting your eyes. Avoid smoking, as studies have linked it to conditions like macular degeneration and optic nerve damage.

You should also take breaks during long tasks, that require intense focus, like knitting or reading. By developing healthy habits, you are taking a proactive approach to long-term vision care.
