Open PowerPoint
Choose a design
Add slides
Add titles
Write text
The Big Picture
What have we done? We have a some practice using a word processor
What are we doing? We are now learning to use PowerPoint and we will create a presentation with poems
Where are we going? We are learning a variety of Microsoft Office products
Open PowerPoint and choose a blank presentation
To choose a nice design go to the Design Tab
Make a title slide
Add slide, go to Insert > New Slide > Title and Content
Write your poem
Success Criteria
Some Success – I can open a blank presentation and make a second slide. I can change the design
Success – Nearly all of a poem is typed, punctuation is mostly correct. There is some evidence of change of font type, colour and size
Super Success – The whole poem is typed, punctuation is correct and every line has a different font type, colour and size. the presentation looks amazing
