Welcome to the new academic year for 2021 – 2022.
This year, I want innovation to be at the heart of learning Computing and Digital Literacy (ICT for those that like the old fashioned term).
That means that, when we can, we will be doing things in a different way.
“Will it work?”
The answer is yes, hopefully. But innovation does not work the way that we want. But if we don’t try, nothing will change. Everything must change because technology changes. Therefore, we cannot stand still.
If it doesn’t work, that is not a problem, as long as we learn why it has not worked. We will continue to keep things fresh.
I want to add fresh ideas, but I also need to find even better ways for students to develop fresh ideas and help drive the change. I did try a few things out at the end of last term and got some unexpected but brilliant results.
At the end of the day, it is all super exciting.
